A six or a sixer is when the ball passes or touches the boundary of the playing field without having rolled or bounced before. The IPL is a professional Twenty20 cricket league conducted annually and followed religiously in the country with franchises representing the Indian states and cities. The tournament’s popularity is second to none, with the highest attendance amongst all cricket leagues in the world and sixth by average attendance among all sports leagues.
