There still is a big partisan divide over which leadership qualities Republicans and Democrats see in U.S. President Donald Trump. The most agreed on character trait according to research institute Gallup is competitiveness.
Many Democrats would go with describing the president as putting an emphasis on success, being intense and enthusiastic. Most other qualities, such as courage, vision and caring about individuals seem to be only apparent to Republicans and their supporters.
Being knowledgeable wasn't one of the criteria Gallup chose to be an important leadership trait.
