Reacting to the NSA surveillance affair, Yahoo, Facebook, Google and Twitter each published transparency reports, sharing the numbers of data requests they had from the U.S. government.
Yahoo leads the statistic shown below with 12,444 requests they received from the government. The micro-blogging platform Twitter has received comparatively less requests from the National Security Agency than its competitors, given their much smaller user-base.
