Business travel has been slower to recover than leisure tourism, but it is catching up. In most countries around the world domestic tourism already returned to 2019 levels earlier this year and international travel is not far behind. Corporate travel spending, however, is expected to take at least another year to return to 2019 levels, according to the Global Business Travel Association Business Travel Index Outlook. The report singles out Western Europe as the fastest growing region for business travel spending, followed by North America.
