This statistic reveals the average selling price of a ham-butter sandwich in France from 2008 to 2017. It can be seen that from the year 2010, the price of the sandwich has increased: a ham and butter sandwich used to cost 2.52 euros in 2010, whereas its price increased to 2.94 euros seven years earlier. Never before had the price been so low as in 2010, which can be explained in particular by the drop in VAT that year.
