COVID-19: impact on applications usage for seniors in France 2020

For some people, the containment was an opportunity to learn, discover, start using or more intensively use communication tools. During the confinement period, 46 percent of French people over 50 years old started with WhatsApp. According to the source, about 77 percent of French people aged over 50 had started using at least one new digital tool during that time. Among professionals, the Zoom applications was also a forerunner, with an adoption rate of 22 percent.
