Key figures on AliExpress in Spain 2022
In 2021, AliExpress Spain had some 11,000 local businesses registered. That represents a 35 percent increase over the previous year. In addition, the platform saw a 200 percent growth in gross merchandise volume that year. Although initially an online shopping site, AliExpress is also betting on physical stores. As of June 2022, the company had eight stores across the country. AliExpress is one of the leading online marketplaces in Spain.
