In a study published in 2022, the highest level of human freedom was found in Switzerland. Switzerland recorded a score of 8.94 points in 2020, on a scale in which 10 represents more freedom. The highest levels of freedom were found in countries located in North America (Canada and the United States), Western Europe, and East Asia.
