In 2021, over 15 percent of brand posts on Facebook contained video, up from a mere 5.47 percent in 2014. Overall, links were the most popular type of brand posts on Facebook, accounting for 38.78 percent of posts by brands in the most recently measured period, followed closely by photos which made up 38.58 percent of brand posts on the social media platform.
