This statistic shows the value of lost profit from online piracy in Spain from 2017 to 2019, by media sector. In 2018, with 536 million euros of profit loss, the music industry represented the media branch with the highest loss of revenue. Music was also the type of content that featured the highest tax income loss in 2017, owing to the fact that this industry was the most illegally accessed media industry that same year.
