Consistent with these results is the browser market share in the country. In early 2017, the most popular browser overall in Canada was Chrome. At the same time, Chrome led in the ranking of desktop browsers as well. There was a slight difference when it came to mobile internet browsers, where Safari ranked first, with Google's Chrome taking the second spot.
