Number of visitors to the Royal Museums Greenwich in England 2011-2022
The number of visitors to the Royal Museums Greenwich in London, England, declined dramatically in 2020/2021 over the previous fiscal year due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. From March 2020 onwards, museums, galleries, and cultural institutions in the country had to close for long periods due to emergency measures introduced to limit the spread of the virus. As a result of the closures, the Royal Museums Greenwich reported an attendance of 111 thousand between April 2020 and March 2021. Attendance to the museum increased between April 2021 and March 2022 to 926 thousand.
