Organic market shares in the Nordic countries 2012-2016

This statistic shows the market organic market shares in selected Nordic countries from 2012 to 2016. Throughout the survey period, the organic market share had been the highest in Denmark, reaching close to ten percent in 2016. In Sweden, organic food retail accounted for 3.8 percent of the market in 2013 but had more than doubled in 2016. Organic market share in Finland remained lower throughout the time period, increasing only at a rate of merely 0.1 percent from 2013 to 2015 and amounting to two percent in 2016.
