The statistic presents the average time devoted to the broadcast of different TV genres on Brazilian free TV from 2012 to 2016. The average time share of TV news on Brazilian free TV reached 15 percent in 2015, up from 10 percent in 2012. On average, Brazilian free TV devoted 21 percent of its broadcasting time to religious programs in 2015 and 2016.
