Annual yield of sugarcane in India FY 2014-2022
In financial year 2022, the yield of sugarcane produced across India was estimated to be approximately 84 metric tons per hectare. This was an in crease from the previous fiscal year's yield of around 80 metric tons per hectare. Sugarcane is an important cash crop in the country. Uttar Pradesh produced the highest volume of sugarcane that year, followed by Maharashtra, Odisha and Tamil Nadu.
