Former Vice President Joe Biden, often rumored to be mulling a run for the presidency in 2020, has reportedly told a Democrat ally that:“If you can persuade me there is somebody better who can win, I’m happy not to do it. But I don’t see the candidate who can clearly do what has to be done to win”. In what would be greeted as very positive news by a large proportion of Democratic Party supporters, Biden will apparently announce his decision as to whether he will run "soon". Joe's confidence is also backed up by a recent CNN poll which showed him to be the favorite among the Democratic base, and by some way.
