In the past three years, the market share of Microsoft’s Windows Phone in the United States has steadily declined. It dropped from just below 20% in September 2009 to just 3.9% in February 2012. Since then, it seems like Microsoft has finally managed to stop the downward trend. Market share of Windows Phone has now been stable for three months and Microsoft surely hopes that these are the first signs of a turning tide.
