Talent Shortages in 2024: Which Industries Struggle the Most?

When asked about their ability to attract talent to their industry, at least half of employers in the real estate, hospitality, and chemical sectors expressed little optimism. According to the 2024 Future of Jobs report published by the World Economic Forum, 55% of employers in accommodation, food, and leisure report difficulty finding talent and this sentiment is even more pronounced in real estate.
