Exporting
Export turns a Consumer AI chat into a finished document. It pulls the key findings and visualizations from the chat into a PowerPoint or PDF.
Export works on a whole chat, not a single chart or board. To export one chart on its own, use Download on the chart instead.
How to export
- Open the chat you want to export and select Export.
- Choose a format, PowerPoint or PDF.
- Choose a length, short for a concise summary, detailed for a fuller version with more supporting data.
- Add a short prompt to steer what it leads with. For example: "Focus on brand awareness for 18- to 34-year-olds."
- Confirm. It generates in the background, and you'll get a notification when it's ready.
Your exports are saved in Exports in the sidebar, ready to download when needed.
Citing your data
Charts in an export include a source that links back to the survey question behind them. To build a formal citation (APA, Harvard, Chicago), use the source details: the survey name, the wave or year, the country, and the Statista URL.
