After the declaration of the state of alarm on March 14, 2020 due to COVID-19, Spain experienced a phenomenon hitherto unknown in the country's recent history: a quarantine.
For approximately eight weeks and following the government measures established, the population was confined to their homes trying to avoid the contagion of the dreaded SARS-CoV-2. But staying home did not necessarily mean stop working. On the contrary, according to a study carried out between April 6th and 8th, 2020, 40 percent of those surveyed had the option of being able to telework, compared to 19 percent who had to continue going to their workplace.
