Petroleum products imports in Venezuela 2010-2021
In 2021, imports of petroleum products in Venezuela amounted to 69 thousand barrels per day, roughly the same figure reported one year earlier. The South American country's imports of oil products had been on a mostly upward trend until 2018, when figures reached a record high of 245 thousand barrels per day. Meanwhile, Venezuela's refinery throughput declined by more than 80 percent in the 2010-2021 period.
