Japan: general account budget against coronavirus 2022

The Japanese government reserved five trillion Japanese yen of the general account budget for the fiscal 2022 year for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) countermeasures. The government approved a supplementary budget of 1.1 trillion yen for measures against price increases in crude oil and commodity.
