In 2023, approximately 111 million Belarusian rubles were spent on internet advertising in Belarus, making it the leading advertising segment. To compare, the TV ad revenue generated over 50 million Belarusian rubles in the same year. In 2022, the sharp decrease in TV ad spend was explained by the exodus of several Western advertisers from Belarus due to its government's support of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
