In 2018, the largest advertiser in the United States was the Comcast Corporation, with advertising investments reaching roughly 6.12 billion U.S. dollars. Other large advertisers on the list included AT&T, Amazon and American Express Co.

Advertising in the United States

The largest share of ad expenditures in the United States in 2018 was attributed to mobile media, followed by television. Among the different media, the mobile share is set to grow significantly; by roughly fourteen percent by 2022. By contrast, advertising expenditures on print and TV are predicted to decrease.

Comcast Corporation is a global media and technology conglomerate, headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Being one of the largest telephone and media companies, Comcast had a total revenue of almost 95 billion U.S. dollars in 2018. That year, the company had a pay TV market share of just under 24 percent – a number that is, however, predicted to decrease in the coming years.
