During an April 2022 survey, 71 percent of gamers in the United States indicated interest in playing their current mobile game if it was also available on PC or console. Overall, gamers in Indonesia were the most interested in cross-device playing of mobile-first titles, with 85 percent of respondents stating their willingness to do so.

Data is based on a survey of 10,500 respondents across 6 countries/markets. Per country, 1,900 for United States, Japan & Germany (1,000 general mobile gamers, 900 subgenre gamers), 1,600 for South Korea, Brazil & Indonesia (1,000 general mobile gamers, 600 subgenre gamers). The source defines cross-device gamers as mobile players who have also played on any other gaming device than smartphone.
