Consumers' willingness to pay for humanely raised products in the U.S. 2013
This statistic presents the results of a survey conducted among American consumers in 2013. Survey participants were asked about their willingness to pay more for high quality, humanely raised products. Some 28 percent of consumers in the United States responded to be willed to pay 20 to 30 percent more for premium quality products which have been manufactured using animal welfare standards.
