Listening to mobile radio in cars - penetration rate in the U.S. 2010-2022
According to a study on the share of U.S. mobile phone owners who have ever listened to online radio in a car using their mobile phone connected to a car audio system from 2010 to 2022, the share of people who listened to online radio via a phone when traveling in their car has grown consistently since 2011, however, the number dropped down to 41 percent in 2019, recovering to 49 percent in 2022.
