Financial Ombudsman: financial services new complaints in the UK 2008-2022

The number of complaints received by the Financial Ombudsman in the UK decreased om 2021/22 compared to the previous year. Between April 2021 and March 2022, the Financial Ombudsman received around 219,000 complaints, which was only 60,000 less than in the previous year. The highest number of complaints received was recorded between April 2009 and March 2010 when almost one million complaints were filed.
