Italy: families struggling with mortgage payments 2013 - 2017

This statistic shows the share of Italian families who stated, between 2013 and 2017, that they would struggle with their mortgage payments. According to the study, one in four Italian families declared in 2017 that they would or were likely to have to make sacrifices to be able to pay their mortgage. This represents an increase from the previous year, when the share of families who worried about their mortgage payments was 18 percent.
