The Office for National Statistics released its latest cancer registration figures for England today and, as this infographic shows, there is a noticeable north-south divide in the rates. When looking at incidence rates per 100,000 population, the North East, North West and Yorkshire and the Humber have proportionally the most cases. Along with the West Midlands, these regions all lie above the England average of 596.2. The lowest rates can be found in London.
