Retail sales index of total retail trade in Denmark 2019-2020

The retail sales index of the total retail trade in Denmark increased from January to February 2020 by 0.3 percent. As of February 2020, the index was measured at 105.3, with 2015 as base year. This addresses the period before the major closings in the retail sector due to COVID-19. However, given the COVID-19 outbreak, retail sales are expected to decline significantly from March (see consumer expectations for March).
