Factors influencing sake purchases for home-uses in Japan 2021
According to a survey conducted in 2021 in Japan, around 80 percent of respondents mentioned the flavor as the leading factor influencing sake purchased for home consumption. The flavor of sake is influenced by a variety of factors during production like the polishing ratio of rice grains, the addition of like sugar, amino acid salts, and other ingredients, as well as the presence of rice particles in the liquor.
