Rakuten Insight survey on consumer attitudes to social media advertising in India conducted in 2023, the majority of respondents across age groups had sometimes bought an item after viewing a social media ad. Among them, respondents between the ages of 45 and 54 constituted the largest group, that is 40 percent. Social media was one of the leading digital advertising formats employed in India.
