Air travel movements between the United Kingdom (UK) and the UAE 2003-2020

This statistic shows the number of passenger movements to and from the United Arab Emirates landing or embarking from airports in the United Kingdom between 2003 and 2020. Although the number of passenger movements between the UK and the UAE was not particularly high, the growth in passenger movements increased strongly over this period seemingly without being affected by the recession like other countries. Dubai has become a popular tourist and business destination as well as international hub. The number of passenger movements increased between 2003 and 2019 reaching 7.7 million passenger movements.
