U.S. consumer electronics industry retail revenue 2012-2024

The retail revenue of the consumer electronics (CE) market in the United States constantly increased during the period from 2012 to 2021. Based on the projected retail sales for 2024, consumer electronics retail sales in the United States will reach 512 billion U.S. dollars. OLED TVs were forecast to generate 2.3 billion U.S. dollars in revenue in 2023. Portable gaming consoles were expected to generate 1.5 billion U.S. dollars.

Retailers

  The United States offers a wide range of electronics retaileres, both stores and online retailers. Examples are BestBuy, which generated revenues of 51.8 billion U.S. dollars in 2023, Walmart, Target, and the e-commerce platform Amazon. Others popular retailers in the country are include Apple, Lenovo and Dell.

However, forecasts suggest that, as a result of the economic downturn, the market is going to decrease in 2023.
