This statistic displays the confectionery sales value in the Netherlands in 2016 and 2017, by type (in 1,000 euros). In 2016, the sales value of biscuits in the Netherlands was nearly 73 million euros. By 2017, this had decreased by more than half, to 33 million euros. In 2016, biscuits were still the best-selling confectionery of the three products surveyed, but by 2017 its leading position had been taken over by snack bars.
