Brazil: companies in the private security sector 2017-2021, by type
In 2021, there were a total of approximately 3,500 companies dedicated to the private security sector in Brazil. Of these, almost 2,500 were outsourced security companies, while 1,200 were private security services. In addition, the overall number of security firms in the Brazilian market has decreased in the last few years.
