Number of jobs created in the global call center industry by region 2016-2021
In 2021, there was a sharp decline in the number of call center jobs created in several countries and regions. In the Philippines, for example, there were approximately 17,000 fewer call center jobs created than in 2020. The United States created the highest number of jobs globally within this industry, however this figure was still significantly lower when compared with 2020. In 2021, the region that created the most call center jobs in the United States was in the Southeast.
