As of the fourth quarter of 2018, the average price of fresh loose milk in Egypt was 13.21 Egyptian pounds per kilogram (which is equivalent to 0.83 U.S. dollars per kilogram). During the 2017 and 2018, the average price ranged between 9.07 (0.57 U.S. dollars per kilogram) Egyptian pounds per kilogram and 13.21 Egyptian pounds per kilogram. It is evident that throughout the period under review the average price followed an increase trend, with an overall increase in loose milk price of 45.6 percent.
