A low turnout is expected among Europe’s youth for the European elections towards the end of May. Generally, young British voters are the least likely to vote in the EU. A survey has found that while 71 percent of Italians aged 18-24 have voted in at least one political election, this figure falls to just 38 percent in the United Kingdom.
