The most popular products consumers in the Netherlands purchased from abroad was clothing, according to the results of a 2020 survey. Over a quarter of respondents (26 percent) stated to have made cross-border purchases for clothing products in that year. Another 15 percent of respondents bought home electronics from online stores based outside of the Netherlands.
