Australia: Amazon Australia share of online purchases made by product category 2023

In a survey conducted in February 2023 in Australia, the top product category purchased on Amazon.com.au among online shoppers was books and eBooks, with around 24 percent of respondents saying they had purchased these products on Amazon Australia's website in the last 12 months. Purchasing home and kitchen products from Amazon Australia was also quite popular among consumers, with around 19 percent of those surveyed buying their home and kitchen products on Amazon. Vitamins and supplements, as well as alcohol, were the product categories least shopped for on Amazon.com.au among respondents.
