Verizon's consolidated revenue worldwide 2010-2018, by quarter This statistic shows Verizon Communications' consolidated revenue from the first quarter of 2010 to the fourth quarter of 2018. In the first quarter of 2018, Verizon's global revenue was 31.77 billion U.S. dollars.
Verizon Communications - additional information

With a substantial workforce and annual revenues in excess of 120 billion U.S. dollars, Verizon sits alongside AT&T Inc. as one of the largest companies in the United States telecommunications market. Other, smaller competitors include Sprint Corporation and T-Mobile. In total, the North American telecommunications market is estimated to be worth approximately 325 billion U.S. dollars and second only to the Asia-Pacific market in size.

In the U.S. wireless market, Verizon has a large retail customer base, which continues to grow year-on-year, and one of the lowest churn rates in the U.S. telecommunications industry. Coupled with a healthy average revenue per account (ARPA), it has contributed to Verizon's continued strong operating income, bringing in around 20 billion U.S. dollars in 2014.

In the American wireline market, Verizon Communications generates approximately a third of its revenue from fixed line services. Despite lagging some distance behind AT&T in terms of broadband subscribers, Verizon still manages some 40 million wireline connections in the United States, with the majority of its fixed line revenue shared between its global enterprise and consumer retail services.
