App Store and Google Play mobile game downloads worldwide 2018-2022

In the first quarter of 2022, a total of 14.4 billion mobile games were downloaded globally across both app stores, out of which 12.1 billion downloads were downloaded on Google Play. Mobile gaming app downloads, especially via Android devices, experienced a significant boost due to the global coronavirus pandemic.
