Internet penetration rate among women in Japan 2022, by age group
A survey conducted in Japan during 2022 showed that a majority of women throughout all age groups used the internet, except for those aged 80 years and older. The internet penetration rate was highest among women in their twenties, of whom more than 99 percent used the internet. A comparison with the internet penetration rate among the male population in Japan shows that women aged 60 years and older were less likely to use the internet than men of the same age.
