Philip Hammond is presenting his Autumn Statement today. Among the great deal of aspects dealt with in his statement were the latest Office For Budget Responsibility forecasts for economic output. 2017 has been downgraded from the 2.2 percent predicted in March to 1.4 percent. Hammond says this is due in part to 'lower investment and weaker consumer demand' as a result of the initial shocks related to Brexit.
