Most international flags have three colors: red, blue and white. Prominent examples are the United States, the United Kingdom and France. Until 2011 there was one flag with just one color: Libya, which flew a solid green flag, but has adopted a flag with 4 colors after the ousting of former strongman Muammar Gaddafi. This infographic considers the flags of the 193 United Nations member states.
