By December 6, 2022, over 4.4 million first doses of COVID-19 vaccine and almost 4.3 million second doses have been administered in Finland. The coronavirus vaccination rollout started on December 27, 2020 with the BioNTech–Pfizer vaccine.
Coronavirus vaccination is offered to everyone aged five or older who is willing to take the vaccine. According to the vaccination order in Finland, COVID-19 vaccinations are first offered to social and healthcare personnel with a higher risk of exposure, risk groups, and those aged 70 years and older.

People who have died and those living abroad have been removed from the total of first-dose vaccine recipients. "Due to a THL technical problem, the number of people who received a coronavirus vaccine was underreported in the municipality of Järvenpää between 14 January and 4 February, and in the municipalities of Mäntsälä and Pornainen between 14 January and 8 February. A technical issue at Yle also led to an underreporting of vaccination numbers between 2 to 4 February."
Vaccination reporting includes registered residents in Finland. Vaccinations are counted as a single dose, and the figures equal the number of people who have received at least one vaccination dose.
