Organic certified food export volume from Japan 2014-2021
In 2021, the export volume of certified organic food from Japan amounted to over 3.5 million kilograms. Japan maintains bilateral equivalency agreements for organic agricultural products, livestock products, and processed foods with the United States, Australia, Canada, and Switzerland. Additionally, bilateral agreements exist for organic produces and processed foods of plant origin traded with Argentina, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, the European Union, and Taiwan.
