A survey conducted in October 2021 among Chinese online audio users showed that almost a half of respondents listened to online audio content two to five hours per day on average. Major audio content platforms in China, like Ximalaya and Lizhi, have been expanding their content distribution channels from smartphones to smart speakers, smart home devices, and automobiles.
